Antimony Metal is widely used in production of Antimony Trioxide its derivatives Sb Metal Is also used in Battery, Special Alloy Steels.

Applications of Antimony Metal
Antimony Metal has many industrial uses and is used :
in the manufacture of antimony compounds,
in the form of Antimony Black as a bronzing coating for metals and plaster casts,
in alloys which expand on solidification,
in solders,
in medicines as Tartar Emetic, (i.e. Hydrated Potassium Antimonyl Antimonate),
in the manufacture of enamels,
in the manufacture of colouring in pottery and ceramics.
Principally In Alloys With Lead For Storage Battery Grids
In Alloys With Other Metals For Electrical & Other Uses
Chem Intermed For Other Antimony Agents, Fire Retardant Cmpd, Ceramic & Glass Additives, Paint Pigments, Rubber Vulcanization Agents.
Alloys Are The Predominant Use Of Antimony Metal Because Its Brittleness Makes Direct Use Impractical.
